They have a discriminatory policy. The website says you can bring in guests, but I have been told twice that I shouldn't bring in guests. I made a reservation because I thought it would be at least quiet if there are no guests in other rooms too. So all my visitors paid extra to sleep in hotels during my stay. But my housemates kept bringing in guests. When I asked Sakura why it’s only allowed to them, they suddenly changed their tune and said, "Sometimes it's okay." If you're going to live here, you don't have to listen to them. I was the only one who kept their rules and became a fool. Their management is negligent and quite irresponsible.

I have lived in Sakura House for 5 months. It has been an awful experience. The cleaning is vey bad and the Wi-Fi is almost not functioning. I have notified sakurahouse many times of the bad condition of the house but they don’t seem to care. My roomies has also contacted Sakura house several times with different problems. I would never recommend it for long stays. I have only heard bad things about there other houses aswell.

I have rented 5 different places in Japan and this company is without a doubt the worst. My room came included with a futon mattress filled with ダニ (bed bugs). I had to go to the doctor because of this and Sakura House management never responded to my complaint to at least, pay for the medication I had to take for using their mattresses. Rooms are over priced for the quality and size of the building. Location is actually good, very central, but luckily now you can find better alternatives for short term stay in Japan rather than Sakura House. There's a reason why this company has a bad reputation, and it's true.

Clean and rather new by Sakura House standards. Quiet, but in a good location with easy access to trendy restaurants and the Metro.
