Don't get me wrong, the place looked amazing, and our server was one of the most attentive I have ever had. However, the food left a lot to be desired and was either quite flavorless or tasted like it came from a can/freezer. You pay the same price as takeout or another sit down for food that tastes like it was cooked last week. I had tamales, queso, and we ordered the nachos. Tamales tastes canned, queso tasted like it wasn't real cheese with the only saving grace being the beef, and the nachos were quite dry with chicken that had that signature taste that you get when you freeze it after cooking. I wish the restaurant was as good as its service because if it was id exclusively come here!

With only thirty minutes to enjoy a meal that wasn’t delivered through a window in a paper bag, we decided on Sabor a la Mexicana. They are located behind Red Lobster and Olive Garden. We made it just in time because they are closed from 2pm - 4pm. We were greeted upon entry and seated immediately by a friendly hostess. The time between placing our order and receiving our meal was less than ten minutes which gave us more than enough time to enjoy our meal. Our server was very friendly and attentive, the vibe was dynamic, the food was delicious at just the right temperature and the vibrant colors were amazing! There were a group of ladies enjoying a birthday lunch who contributed to the energetic vibe. Never noticing before but this is a good place for a gathering. Sabor offered delicious food that is reasonably priced, great service, a lovely atmosphere, ample parking and they have a bar (for those who would appreciate that). This was an excellent dining experience. Here’s to another clean plate?

Stumbled upon this restaurant. We ordered the Tampiqueña plate and Enchiladas Zacatecanas. Everything was phenomenal. 5 stars!

Great restaurant, the food was great and the atmosphere is worth making a return visit. FYI the building is also the restaurant’s tortilla factory, so they make their own tortillas, chips, etc for the restaurant. Our server told us about the factory and the fact that a lot of people don’t know there is a restaurant, they notice the factory first.

My wife and I came here because the prices were reasonable... Upon arriving and looking over the menu all the prices are more and no were close to what they advertised on their web site. We came to visit the city from 300 miles away. I would NOTE RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF THEY DON'T HONOR THEIR ADVERTISED PRICES..... We ended up sharing a plate of beef fajitas in this establishment.

This is a great hidden gem! I great lunch spot, too! Authentic Mexican cuisine with vegetarian options and I was able to make substitutions. The decor was amazing! With a pleasant atmosphere, this place will be a go to spot for me.

Real good food. Service was just okay (server was new and had to repeat order several times). Price was a little high. Average about $14 bucks a plate. This place was super clean, and bathrooms were exceptionally clean.

It was cool. Burrito was on the small side for $18, but it was fresh and good. I can get a bigger and a little better one for less a typical taco shop. But the service was excellent.
